is on her way to class, and she is running late. She wants to look really
good for her first day at college, so she is dressed in a sweater, skirt,
loafers, and her back seamed full fashion nylons. She jumps into the LTD
and tries to start it, but with no luck. We watch her through the driver
and passenger side windows as she tries to get the car to start. Her frustration
with the troublesome car builds, and after pumping and cranking for 20 minutes,
she finally gives up and jumps in her mom’s brand new Ford Focus. It starts
right up, and she is off! School’s out, and Collette is anxious to get home.
She gets in her mother’s car, only to find it won’t start either!!!! She
is so frustrated, she calls her mom in desperation. Her mother tells her
she will have to walk home! But Collette refuses to give in. She tries to
start the Focus over and over as we watch her attempts through the driver
and passenger windows. We see a lot of leg working the pedals, and her lots
of shots of her frustrated face. 40 min. |
