is headed to the mall, so she slips into her flip flops and hops into
the 68 Chrysler Imperial. She starts it up and revs it to warm it up a
bit. She starts driving, and notices that the brakes don’t feel
quite right. They are making a funny sound, and she has to put both feet
on the pedal to get the car to stop. Getting more and more nervous the
more she drives, she pulls over to look under the hood. She can’t
find anything wrong, and she just got new brakes. She tries pumping the
brakes for a while, pushing her feet into the big pedals, hoping to help
her predicament. She starts driving home again, hoping to make it before
